Notice of Public Supplemental Educational Services

In accordance with the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act, the following is public information concerning Supplemental Educational Services:

• Supplemental Educational Services is available to students receiving Free or Reduced Lunch in Title I schools that do not meet the minimum requirements for AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) for three or more consecutive years.
  • 2007-2008 – No schools were eligible for Supplemental Educational Services
  • 2008-2009 – The parents of 306 students receiving Free or Reduced Lunch and attending Central Middle School were notified by letter of their child’s eligibility for Supplemental Educational Services.  Of these, 19 initially completed an application to obtain these services from an outside provider.  As of 2008-2009, the providers approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education include:
