Members of the Cape Girardeau Public Schools Board of Education hosted an open discussion focused on community engagement on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Jefferson Elementary. Those in attendance were given a tour of the District's newest additions to the building resulting from the 2019 bond issue: the Pre-K Center, school gymnasium, pool, and innovation space used for STREAM (science, technology, research, engineering, art, math) lessons.
