SEMO EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP

Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) and Cape Girardeau Public Schools (CGPS) have entered into a five-year exclusive educational partnership agreement. The agreement will provide all CGPS full-time employees (certified and classified) a 20% tuition discount to online programming in the undergraduate and graduate programs offered by SEMO or the undergraduate pathway for paraprofessionals.

Steps to apply for admission

  1. Complete the application for admission online. Be sure to include the company code CGPS01M on the application.

  2. Request to have your high school and any college transcripts sent to Southeast.

  3. Fill out the CGPS Rate Agreement form and email the required materials to admissions@semo.edu or mail them to:

Additional Benefits

CGPS employees and their spouse/partner are eligible for a Student Recreation Center membership at the University affiliate rate.

CGPS employees can receive discounted tickets ($3 off purchase price) on university-produced events at the Southeast River Campus. Each Cape Central faculty/staff member can purchase up to four discounted tickets. This discount does not apply to events not produced by the University.

CGPS employees can also receive discounted tickets to SEMO athletic events. Employees will be emailed a code to use when purchasing tickets to sporting events.

CGPS may request up to 10 complimentary tickets per semester to a University produced event held in the Bedell Performance Hall to be distributed to CGPS employees (or students). Tickets must be requested in advance of the event.
