Cape Central High's Avery Criblez has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to attend Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia. The CHS graduate has accepted a four-year, full-tuition Navy ROTC Marine Option Scholarship. This scholarship will prepare Avery for a future as a commissioned officer in the Navy or Marin Corps. Avery plans to study National Security and Foreign Affairs with minors in Russian, Integrated Security, and Leadership Studies.
Avery has been extremely active during her time at Cape Central.
