HVAC/R - Evening
About the Program:
The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) field is part of a growing technical trade industry. This 33-week certificate program provides students with a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration. Students will study all phases of HVAC/R applications, fundamentals of circuitry/schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. Students can take the EPA certification testing on-site (at an additional fee). Students will train on light commercial systems applications, and troubleshooting of circuitry, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. While in training, students will be allowed to learn the practical application of recovery equipment and other service tools specific to the trade. Preparing for the industry certification is of high importance too.
A $200.00 deposit is due upon enrollment. The remaining balance is to be paid by April 1.
The estimated cost for the EPA test is $25 and is additional to the class cost.
