About:
Is your company seeking fresh talent? The Cape Girardeau Career & Technology Center knows that nearly all business and industry sectors struggle to find skilled and reliable employees. Getting talent and the opportunity to connect isn't always easy; we want to help. We all know that when people make face-to-face connections they are more likely to remember the experience and build on that relationship. So each Wednesday from September to April, we invite local businesses and industry to meet your future employees!
Here at Cape CTC, we believe it's important that our students have opportunities to practice soft skills, introduce themselves to employers, and gain exposure to the wide array of businesses and employment opportunities our area offers! Workforce Wednesdays (WW) allow our students to practice meeting and talking with employers while enabling you to connect with and recruit our students to help meet your workforce needs.
How does it work?
Click this link to answer a few questions & select potential dates to schedule your WW date. Once we receive your information, we’ll email you to confirm your chosen dates.
Before your scheduled visit, we’ll promote your company and any positions you're recruiting for to our students and staff.
On your scheduled visit, we’ll set you up at a table with direct access to students. We encourage you to bring displays, giveaways, brochures, etc. to promote your business and help students remember your company.
On your scheduled visit date students, instructors and staff will stop by during their morning and afternoon blocks to meet you and learn more about your company and any employment opportunities available now and in the future.
Hire CTC students and we'll all celebrate the perfect win-win! Please let us know if you hire a CTC student - we want to join the celebration!
